Two arrested for stealing $200,000
Two men were charged yesterday with stealing over $200,000 through ordering cars for people.
Maurice Sullivan, 51 and Farris Neely, 40. The men were also charged with stealing $128,000 from Yvonne Rolle between Thursday, July 5, 2018. Neely was also charged with three separate counts of stealing by reason of service. He was charged with stealing $1,500 from Bernice McSweeney on September 24 and $2,000 from McSweeney on October 4, by reason of service. Neely was further charged with stealing $4,500 cash from Cecil Mackey on September 14, by reason of service. Police said the men received cash from their victims for cars but the cars were never delivered.
